Recommended Testing
Female/Person with Ovaries/Uterus
It is very useful for people to have had their infection and immunity screen and an AMH prior to consultation. Other tests can be considered as below. Patients will be seen with no prior testing if that is preferred.
Infection and Immunity Screen: Rubella/Varicella/HIV/Hep B & C/Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea/Syphillis
General Health Screen: HbA1c, Full Blood Count, Liver Function Tests, Fasting Lipids, CST, Mammogram (if applicable)
Genetic: Cenetic Carrier Screening and Karyotype (to be discussed)
Fertility: AMH, Day 2 FSH, LH Oestrodiol (random if not cycling)
Consider if irregular cycles: Morning fasted cortisol, TSH, 17OHP (in cases of severe early hyperandrogenism), PRL, Progesterone, Total and Free Testosterone, DHEAS
Imaging: Pelvic Ultrasound to assess for accessibility of ovaries, any pathology, antral follicle count
